Anyone can plan a party or a wedding, but knowing you have a professional at your event to implement your detailed plans while you enjoy the biggest day of your life with your family and friends is not only important - it's a necessity! You can't hold a bouquet AND a clipboard!
I love being a mom to my 17-year old daughter, who is a rising senior in high school, and my sweet Shih-tzu, Bear.
After helping plan my sister-in-law’s wedding 10-years ago, I got the wedding fever and have been helping brides with their special day for more than 7 years now. Getting to know and help the couple and their families while ensuring it goes off without a hitch and stress-free, keeps my love for this industry going each day.
I have been given so many opportunities thanks to the many couples and "friendors" that I have been blessed to work with! I can’t wait to continue my passion with making every bride feel like a princess on their special day!
I have been happily married for 16 years and I'm a mom of 3. I received my wedding planner certification from the University of Richmond and I have worked in the hospitality business for 25 years. I am from Miami and have lived from there to new jersey, settling in Richmond, VA. I love making my brides the center of the universe on their big day.
I am happily married to my high school sweetheart for 2 years now. I am a mother to my 4-year-old chocolate lab and 1-year-old crazy cat. I graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2015 where I got my degree in Business Management. I started in the wedding industry at an event rental company called Party Perfect where I started out as a Rental Coordinator. That is where I met Angela and started to assist her in coordinating weddings for XOXO. I love helping make your special day stress free and a wedding you won't forget.
I am a fur-mom to my two pugs, Maggie and Winston. I love taking them to local dog parks and participating in pug events. I am a runner and have done a handful of marathons. I recently became engaged to my fiance, Justin, who works in the meteorology field - I love having the inside scoop on what the forecast will be! I have an eclectic education background from forensic psychology to human sexuality education. at my previous job at Penn State's main campus, I initiated and coordinated a one-day conference for college students to learn about campus sexual assault. I caught the coordinator bug then and have been looking to get more into event coordination. I am excited to join the xoxo team and help give you a stress-free wedding day!

I began my career in weddings 16 years ago at a beautiful wedding venue, Celebrations at the Reservoir. I quickly fell in love with the wedding industry and developed a passion for weddings and events that I simply couldn't shake. I have worked alongside caterers, other wedding planners, another wedding venue as well as rental companies, so I have literally seen it all. Over the years, I have coordinated hundreds of weddings. it's always been a dream to open a wedding venue one day, so I decided to start with XOXO. My great-grandmother helped raise me and lived to be 100 years old - she used to write in every card "love you a bushel and a peck and hug around the neck. xoxo". I have always signed off with "xo" or "xoxo" hence the conception of XOXO Weddings & Events. I am extremely blessed to have a team of fabulous ladies whom I can trust and mentor to take the best care of our clients.
I am a mom of two wonderful kids and three amazing stepchildren. I'm a wife to my best friend and soulmate, Jeff.
For fun, I love to sing, dance, read, visit wineries and breweries, watch movies and reality tv (my dirty addiction) and you can find me anywhere with water, sun and sand. During the week, you can find me at Party Perfect, a rental company for tents, tables, chairs, china, etc., as their Sales Manager.
